- summer Sproat#4
- Marabou each color
- Ice Dub Chenille
- Dyed orange hackle
The most often used fly pattern on the lake.
About 2 turns of red wire around the hook. Counterweight to sink horizontally or head down when retrieve stops.
The tail is made of two-color marabou.
The hackle plucks the fiber on the left side facing surface. Just like wrapping a wet fly body hackle.
Attach the chenille and hackle.
Wrap several times of hackle around the head to finish. Stroke the fiber behind and you’re done.
